Welcome to the Winnsboro ISD Food Service Page
For the 2024-2025 school year, Winnsboro Elementary & Winnsboro Memorial Intermediate campuses will operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)and provide breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for families and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
Winnsboro Junior High School & Winnsboro High School families are encouraged to complete the Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals and return the completed form online or to any school office or cafeteria.
The Texas Legislature adopted its budget for the 2024-2025, covering the cost of school breakfast for students eligible for reduced price meals. All students eligible for reduced price breakfast will eat free.
Winnsboro ISD Food Service Department offers healthy, nutritious meals to students. We operate within the guidelines and regulations that are set forth by USDA and TDA.

Parents are encouraged to go online and apply or complete a paper application (available at any campus cafeteria), but do not need to do both. Online applications are processed faster than paper applications and approval or denial of benefits may be viewed online as soon as the application has been processed. Contact any campus cafeteria if you need help or access to a computer. You may apply for these benefits at any time during the school year. Parents or guardians are responsible for the cost of student meals until the NSLP Free/Reduced application is completed and approved. Winnsboro ISD participates in the state’s Direct Certification Program. If your household qualifies and you do not receive a letter, please contact the Food Service Department.

Milk and juice may be purchased for $.75 at each campus. We do not serve non-reimbursable meals to students. Any items purchased after a reimbursable meal has been served will be charged a-la-carte prices.
Payment methods
Meals can be paid for at each campus cafeteria with cash or check. Please make checks out to WISD Lunch Fund. We do not cash checks for students. All checks received will be fully applied to the student account and will be deposited at the end of each day. Refund requests are processed by the Food Service Department and mailed to the parent or guardian.
Lunch Money Now is a software program that is available to prepay for meals. A processing fee will apply to all transactions. Please call the Food Service Office at 903-342-5716 if you need help accessing your child’s information.
Charge Policy
Student ID Numbers
A student ID number is used to identify students when they come through the serving line. Students enter their PIN on a keypad or scan their lunch ID card. Please contact the Food Service office if you feel that your child’s ID number has been stolen or misused. Please encourage your student to learn their number and to never share this information with other students. WISD will refund any charges if it has been determined that an ID number was stolen or misused.
Daily Limits
Parents may contact the Food Service office or campus cafeteria to request a limit for daily spending on a student account.
Morning Tutorials
All school campus cafeterias open at 7:15am to accommodate students.
Smart Snacks

Para el año escolar 2023-2024,Escuela Primaria Winnsboro y Escuela Intermedia Winnsboro Memorial los campus operarán la Provisión de Elegibilidad Comunitaria (CEP) y proporcionarán desayuno y almuerzo a todos los niños sin cargo y eliminarán la recolección de solicitudes de comidas para comidas estudiantiles gratuitas, de precio reducido y pagas. La leche y el jugo se pueden comprar por $.75 en cada campus. No servimos comidas no reembolsables a los estudiantes. Se cobrarán precios a la carta por artículos que no formen parte de una comida reembolsable.
Política de cargos
No se pueden cobrar artículos a la carta o refrigerios en ningún momento. Los avisos de cargos se enviarán a casa diariamente y los padres serán contactados por teléfono o correo electrónico si los cargos no se pagan al día siguiente.
Métodos de pago
Los artículos se pueden pagar en la cafetería de cada campus solo con efectivo o cheque y deben estar en un sobre con el nombre impreso y el número de identificación del estudiante. Por favor haga cheques a nombre de WISD Lunch Fund. No cobramos cheques para estudiantes. Todos los cheques recibidos se aplicarán en su totalidad a la cuenta del estudiante y se depositarán al final de cada día. Las solicitudes de reembolso son procesadas por el Departamento de Servicio de Alimentos y enviadas por correo al padre o tutor. Lunch Money Now es un programa de software que está disponible para pagar por adelantado artículos a la carta o refrigerios en línea enwww.lunchmoneynow.com/lmnwbo. Números de identificación del estudiante

Límites diarios
