Welcome to WHS - Home of the Rugged Red Raiders! The 2023-24 school year is going to be an exciting year for Winnsboro High School!  WHS is proud to have a student body that consistently excels in both academics and extracurricular endeavors, and this year will be no exception! WHS again outpaced the State of Texas on our STAAR/EOC scores this past spring (scoring well above state levels on all tests), a tribute to our hard-working staff and excellent students! Be sure to look elsewhere on the site for reports that provide the detailed results of our academic performance. Here at WHS, we like to get students involved in activities, for we know that involved students are successful students! As the year progresses, WHS students find their niche as activities begin to take shape - Athletics, Band, FFA , FCCLA, Interact, community service projects, UIL Academic teams, and numerous clubs and organizations. For a small 3A school, our students have a variety of ways that they can get involved. Providing students with a high-quality education, while getting them involved in character-building extra-curricular activities, is what we do at WHS.
