Due to pending weather on Tuesday and Wednesday, the baseball games at Quitman will now be played on Monday, April 11. Same start times as previously scheduled.


On Monday, April 4, 2022 school officials were made aware that two WISD students received threatening text messages.
Due to the nature of the threats, WISD officials launched a full investigation. The investigation included WISD school resources officers, the Winnsboro Police Department, and members of the FBI.
After a thorough and extensive investigation, it was determined that the threats were not credible and those involved were never in any direct danger.
WISD would like to assure the community that all threats made against our students are taken seriously. The safety of our staff and students remains our top priority. WISD officials would like to thank the members of the Winnsboro Police Department and the FBI for their quick response and assistance in the investigation.

The Lady Raiders would like to give a special thanks to retired Winnsboro basketball coach and TABC Hall of Fame member Buddy Hawkins and his wife Barb. They cooked a team meal of fajitas and desserts. Thank you Coach Hawkins for your many contributions to the Lady Raider program! Also, in honor of National Athletic Trainers Month, The Lady Raiders would like to give a special thanks to Athletic Trainer Kasie Bell for her tireless efforts in keeping us healthy! We appreciate you! Joining the Lady Raiders for their team meal was Taryn Davis, Darren Swanner and David Rose. They have done an amazing job of broadcasting games for our fans who could not be in attendance. Dr. Rose also brought a message to the girls before their team meal.
